Come One, Come All

by Jeremy Harden

Just like the famous circus saying “Come One Come All”.  I want to welcome all the Dallas Cowboy fans to a historic season. Success breeds speculation for future success which brings out all the fans lifelong Cowboy fans, regional Cowboy fans, favorite athlete fans, and “Bandwagon Fans”.

Bandwagon Fan; a supporter of a sports team only during a period of success”

The Dallas Cowboys, America’s Team is used to have bandwagon fans, from 1965 to 1985 the Cowboys experienced 20 years of winning seasons which produced 12 Conference Championships, 5 Super Bowl appearances, and 2 Super Bowl Championships. Unfortunately, the last 15 years has not been so nice to Cowboy fans. Since the year 2000, the Cowboys have had 6 losing seasons, 6 winning seasons, 3 conference championships, 5 playoff appearances, and 2 playoff wins. The Cowboy bandwagon fan club probably has dwindled some since the 20 years of winning.

I know it has been a while since the Cowboys have given you a reason to jump on their bandwagon but they are back so it is ok the jump back. It is ok bandwagon fans to leave your current sub-par NFL team from like the Carolina Panthers, New Orlean Saints, Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, Green Bay Packers, New York Jets, Kansas City Chiefs, etc.

The Cowboys  hold the best record in the NFL at 10-1. This is the first time in franchise history that the Cowboys have won 10 straight regular season games. The last time the Cowboys experienced 10 straight wins was in 1971 when a 7 game regular season winning streak turned into a 10 game winning streak with playoff wins and Super Bowl VI Championship win over the Miami Dolphins.

So, Come One Come All & enjoy this historic season and the rebirth of winning for the Dallas Cowboys.
